Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; may the salvation and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, as well as his family and Companions. When my dear brother Ibrâhîm asked me to read his new book and write a few lines to preface it, I did not expect it to be this magnificent book that accompanied me a lot in my years as a student: Miftäh Dûr As-Sa-âdah, by the eminent scholar Ibn Al-Qayyim. While I had little knowledge of Arabic at the time, I found pleasure in reading it and today, knowing that it has been translated into French gives me great pleasure. When we hear Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, we hear Shaykh Al-Islâm Ibn Taymiyyah.
