How to be happy?

All praise belongs to Allah Who said (approximate translation of the meaning of the verses):

“We did not send down the Quran to you so that you would be unhappy.”

(Surah 20: Ta-Ha, verse 2)

"And that it is He who made laugh and who made cry"

(Surah 53: The Star, verse 43)

“Then if guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows My guidance will never go astray, nor will he suffer misfortune.”

(Surah 20: Ta-Ha, verse 123)

“And whoever turns away from My Reminder, surely he will have a life of hardship, and We will gather him blind on the Day of Resurrection.”

(Surah 20: Ta-Ha, verse 124)
