How to be good to one's parents? Ibn Al-Jawzi said: "I have noticed that some of the youth of our time do not pay any attention to good behavior towards parents. These youth consider that it is not a vital part of our religion. They raise their voices in front of their fathers and mothers, as if they consider that obeying them is not an obligation. They sever the ties of kinship that Allah has ordered to be preserved in the Qur'an and for which He has issued severe threats against severing them. So I felt the need to compile a book dealing with these obligations so that the heedless one may beware. I have organized it into sections and chapters.

And Allah is the One Who guides to the truth.
